Roasted Pineapple

This simple yet absolutely delicious recipe can be made in an air fryer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh pineapple may use canned as well
  • 1 Tbsp butter melted
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Cut skin off pineapple.
  • Cut into quarters. I did this instead of rings - it was easier.
  • Remove core from each section.
  • Slice into sticks or chunks - whatever you prefer.
  • Mix dry ingredients together with melted butter. Crumble/spread onto pineapple slices. Place on lightly grease air fryer basket. I also placed foil onto the tray below. You could use parchment paper as well.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes at 380° F. Flip halfway through the time. Remove when pineapple looks caramelized.
  • Eat warm, plain or with whipped cream or ice cream. Store in refrigerator in sealed container - though we ate it all!
