Roasted Pineapple
My husband and I have been on a pineapple binge ever since we went on a cruise last April. I came upon a similar recipe and thought it sounded delicious. It was so easy to prepare and gave me a chance to use my relatively new Ninja Flip Air Fryer. I served the slices with ice cream, and, oh, my, it was decadent! We then finished off the rest of the slices as well! So easy to try!
Roasted Pineapple
Ingredients
- 1 fresh pineapple may use canned as well
- 1 Tbsp butter melted
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Cut skin off pineapple.
- Cut into quarters. I did this instead of rings – it was easier.
- Remove core from each section.
- Slice into sticks or chunks – whatever you prefer.
- Mix dry ingredients together with melted butter. Crumble/spread onto pineapple slices. Place on lightly grease air fryer basket. I also placed foil onto the tray below. You could use parchment paper as well.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes at 380° F. Flip halfway through the time. Remove when pineapple looks caramelized.
- Eat warm, plain or with whipped cream or ice cream. Store in refrigerator in sealed container – though we ate it all!
