Never Fail Barbecue Ribs
This recipe creates absolutely the best ribs I have ever tasted. The ribs are tender, fall off the bone, and are full of flavor! Yet, this is so easy. Rub and bake the ribs in foil, and in a few hours, you have an easy but impressive main course. And using foil means a no muss clean up. I originally saw this recipe on jennycancook.com, but have adapted a few things to suit our needs and tastes. I will have to admit, my husband and I finish off the entire rack of ribs, but you may be able to get more servings. We just can’t stop, they are that good!

Delicious Never Fail Fall Apart Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 rack baby back ribs
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce, to taste I used Sweet Baby Ray's
BBQ dry rub
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp paprika can use smoked, regular, or combination
- 1-2 tsp salt to taste
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300° F. Mix dry rub ingredients, feel free to adjust amounts to suit your tastes. Set aside.
- Trim ribs if needed. Apply dry rub to both sides. I spoon it on and spread with a separate utensil. That way, if there is extra rub, I can save it for the next time, since it is not contaminated from the raw meat.
- Place foil in large baking pan or cookie sheet. Place ribs meat side down into foil and wrap tightly.
- Bake in oven for 2 1/2 hours. Check for doneness by sticking a fork between ribs. They should come apart somewhat easily.
- Apply barbecue sauce to one or both sides, as desired. Return to oven for about 10 minutes, uncovered.
- Remove from oven and enjoy!
