Crescent Roll Cheese Danish
Ingredients
- 2 cans Crescent rolls
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened I used light cream cheese
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, and white sugar until well combined. Set aside.
- Open crescent roll tubes. Slice with a sharp knife through the tubes, across the short end. Slices should be about a 1/2 thick. You will get between 6-9 slices per roll, depending on thickness. Press together in the center, forming a well for the filling.
- Use a brush to spread some melted butter into each slice. Sprinkle with the brown sugar. Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in center.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 15-19 minutes or until golden brown. Combine the glaze ingredients and stir until smooth. Drizzle over each warm Danish and enjoy.
