Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

What a great combination – bananas and chocolate! I found a similar recipe on tasty.com, and adapted it to suit our needs. Namely, more chocolate chips! I also had a smaller loaf pan, so slightly adjusted some of the ingredients. Try this out the next time you have bananas sitting around!

Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

A scrumptious twist to banana bread for us chocolate lovers!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • cups flour
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips can use less

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a loaf pan. Mash the bananas in a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix until smooth.
  • Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Combine with flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into greased loaf pan. Add some chocolate chips to the top.
  • Bake for 45-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out fairly clean. Cool, and enjoy!
    Store covered, and warm in microwave if desired.
